Description

In antiquity, alongside a simulation of the Great Dionysia festival—a grand festival where tragedy competitions were held—the emergence of theater will be discussed. Additionally, selected tragedies by Aeschylus, Sophocles, and Euripides will be examined with the accompaniment of vase paintings. If available, translations of these works will be mentioned, with references directing participants to the publisher’s website.

These mythology meetings, which are free to attend, will be held on Zoom.
